Kalamazoo, MI – [December 4, 2020] – Streamline Healthcare Solutions (Streamline) and Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc (Cummins) of Avon, IN partnered last year to supply SmartCare as the agency’s next electronic health record (EHR). Both parties are pleased to announce the go live of the new system. In addition to other enhancements and improvements, one of Cummins top priorities was finding a solution that could support their community based services with a disconnected solution not requiring an internet connection.
Russ Greene, Chief Operations Officer with Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. stated, “It is with great excitement that Cummins and Streamline jointly announced the launch of Cummins’ new electronic health record system that went live on November 2nd. We expect our new Streamline EHR will bring improvements and enhancements to our process efficiency and visibility in delivering world-class behavioral health care,” Russ continued on by saying, “The new system will improve how we connect with consumers and how we manage critical consumer-centered content while giving our providers greater access, visibility, and control over their existing clinical workflows. With this being Streamline’s third Live Customer in Indiana, we remain fully engaged to do our part in contributing to Whole Person Care (WPC) in Indiana as well as throughout the Country.”
Anita Jeyakumar, Vice President of Implementation with Streamline commented, “Both Cummins and Streamline teams faced some challenges in this year of COVID, but the strong partnership between our organizations gave us the ability to continue and get to a strong Go-Live. We’re happy to have another customer go live in Indiana, and we’re excited to continue to do our part in contributing to WPC in the state as well as throughout the Country.”
