EPIC Goes Live With SmartCare EHR
Streamline Healthcare Solutions (Streamline) and EPIC Behavioral Healthcare are excited to share that they officially are live with Streamline’s SmartCare™ electronic health record (EHR). EPIC is a not-for-profit community behavioral healthcare provider in St. Augustine, Florida that provides an array of social services including medication management, substance use, and mental health services for both children and adults.
EPIC chose Streamline’s unified software platform, SmartCare, because it meets their diverse behavioral health and social services needs in a comprehensive manner and the platform has the flexibility to grow with them as their business needs evolve.
We are pleased to announce that EPIC Behavioral Healthcare went live with SmartCare EHR in late June of 2021! Before going live, our dedicated Streamline implementation team conducted a detailed analysis of EPIC’s unique workflows, and business processes, and developed a tailored plan specific to their needs. During this time, clear milestones and timeframes were defined.
We used our implementation team’s in-house resources including project management, business analysis, and development to ensure the process went smoothly for EPIC.
“We are excited about going live with Steamline! We are looking forward to Streamline’s functionality having a positive impact on our ability to assist our clients with their substance use or mental health disorder,” shared Patricia Greenough, CEO at EPIC. “We feel Streamline is going to help us be more efficient and allow us to better focus on helping our clients on their recovery journey.”
Anita Jeyakumar, VP of Implementation at Streamline commented, “Streamline is excited to announce that our fourth Florida customer, EPIC Behavioral Healthcare in St. Johns County, went live on SmartCare as of June 2021. It has truly been an epic experience working with their team and executive leadership. In every step of the way, they showed us how they put their clients first and use the 8 Dimensions of Wellness guidelines from SAMHSA.” She continued on by saying, “Their person-centered philosophy has been woven into their systems and processes as evidenced throughout this implementation. We look forward to them growing and scaling even further now that together we have successfully completed the implementation and they are getting ready to submit their first FASAMs v14 Reporting (current Florida State Reporting.)”
