Amy Freeman Pierce is a seasoned Healthcare IT legal executive and trusted business partner with more than 25 years of experience leading complex legal, regulatory, and compliance functions across the technology, health, and government sectors. As Chief Legal Officer (CLO), she oversees all legal matters for Streamline and serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team, helping guide the organization through an evolving regulatory and contractual landscape.
Prior to joining Streamline, Amy spent over two decades with Cerner Corporation (now Oracle Health), where she held multiple senior leadership roles. Most recently, as Vice President in Oracle Legal for Government Health & Life Sciences, she led a legal and compliance team supporting a multi‑billion‑dollar government portfolio across the U.S. and Canada. Earlier, as Vice President and General Counsel for Cerner’s Government Business, she played a central role in major federal EHR modernization efforts, including the VA Electronic Health Record Modernization Program and the Department of Defense MHS GENESIS Program. She also established Cerner’s Government Compliance Program, negotiated large‑scale federal contracts, and helped foster partnerships that advanced innovation across health systems.
