Oak Brook, IL – Appleseed Community Mental Health Center headquartered in Ashland, Ohio, which provides behavioral health-focused services to its local community, has selected Streamline as its electronic health record (EHR) vendor.
Following a comprehensive evaluation, Appleseed CMHC selected Streamline’s EHR, SmartCare™, to help meet the behavioral health provider’s HIE, state reporting, and revenue cycle needs now and into the future. Streamline’s experience and longevity in the state of Ohio helped them stand out from other vendors during the evaluation process.
Through the SmartCare™ platform, Appleseed CMHC can seamlessly generate the required state reporting. Revenue Cycle Management played a strong role in the organization’s decision process. Appleseed CMHC wanted a comprehensive system that would reduce the amount of manual work for its end users when running billing statements as well as create a more efficient workflow process.
“We chose Streamline for four primary reasons,” said Jerry Strausbaugh, Executive Director of Appleseed Community Mental Health Clinic. “We needed an EMR system that was intuitive for our clinicians, a system that could produce the kind of reports required by our partners, and a system that seamlessly integrates with all of the third-party insurance providers and contracts we work with. Finally, we needed an EMR system with a reputation of outstanding support. We believe based on our research of the EMR products in the market, that Streamline is a partner that can deliver on all four fronts.”
“We welcome Appleseed CMHC as our newest Ohio Partner. Appleseed is deeply rooted in the Ashland, Ohio community providing the highest standard of behavioral healthcare services to many individuals,” said Javed Husain, Streamline Healthcare Solutions’ CEO. “We look forward to providing them with a technology platform that not only can support them today but well into the future as they continue to grow and provide additional levels of care for their community.”
