LifeStream Behavioral Center and Streamline Healthcare Solutions (Streamline) are excited to share that they officially are live with Streamline’s cloud-based, single-platform electronic health record (EHR), SmartCare™. LifeStream is a great example of Streamline’s expanding partnership in some key areas including Mental Health Corporation of America (MHCA) membership, and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA) Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) grant award.
Serving Central Florida, LifeStream offers a broad mix of community-based and outpatient programs, as well as sizable inpatient and residential programs with a total of 278 beds spanning six inpatient hospital units and 14 residential programs. One major factor in the selection of their new solution was an EHR that provides robust inpatient and residential capabilities including medication management/administration (eMAR), a bed board and a white board, and full order entry capabilities.
Throughout the implementation, LifeStream and Streamline project teams worked closely to ensure the project was successful. The dedicated Streamline implementation team conducted a detailed analysis of LifeStream’s unique workflows and business processes and developed a tailored plan specific to their needs. This included the delivery of key billing customizations, which would not be possible without true partnership and collaboration with the LifeStream team.
