Oak Brook, IL – After an extensive evaluation and procurement process, Sierra Vista Child & Family Services, based in Modesto, California, has selected Streamline’s SmartCare™ as its new Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution. Sierra Vista joins Streamline as another Community Based Organization (CBO) in California.
Streamline’s growing California presence with the state’s counties and CBOs, along with the ability to meet the advancements of CalAIM, was a major factor in Sierra Vista’s decision. Other factors included overall system flexibility for Sierra Vista’s non-Medi-Cal programs, and the ability to capture and report on data in a variety of ways with SmartCare™. Sierra Vista will also be utilizing SmartCare’s Foster Care component and its mobile solution, SmartCare™ Anywhere, for their service populations, further showcasing SmartCare’s ability to meet the multi-faceted needs of the human services market and diverse communities.
Jeff Anderson, CPO of Sierra Vista Child & Family Services, stated, “We are so pleased to be in partnership with Streamline Healthcare Solutions as our provider of its SmartCare EHR solution. After an 18-month process of vetting three strong viable options for EHRs, we elected to link with Streamline as SmartCare was the most robust solution for us today as well as demonstrated the capacity to grow and flex as our agency’s needs expand and change in the future. Moreover, the navigation of the product is simple and intuitive, creating a user-friendly experience for staff.
Javed Husain, CEO of Streamline Healthcare Solutions, commented, “As Streamline continues to showcase commitment to the California Behavioral Health market, it is exciting to see the user community expanding with non-profit providers such as Sierra Vista. Their move to an EHR that prioritizes whole-person care will allow them to grow and stay agile with the CalAIM initiatives and county requirements.”
